I had been waiting for updated drivers etc. I posted this here since there is no regular notebook support forum and because you also need the gestures in games from the Windows Store. I really need horizontal scrolling.Īny help on newer drivers / configuration utilities for the ATK function keys or the EDTware ElanTech Smart-Pad? Vertical scrolling and pinch-to-zoom works. I can't configure my touchpad, the application to do that doesn't work under Windows 8. It would be nice if it just worked with the default Windows 8 interface and popup.
In the metro interface I don't see anything and in the desktop interface I see the same popup as in Windows 7. It works when I connect my Logitech USB keyboard but the popup doesn't show up when I use the volume keys (with Fn) on my notebook. Windows 8 shows a nice little popup when you press the volume keys on a keyboard. My Asus X53Sv works fine on Windows 8 except for two things: I installed it earlier this week and I love it. I'm a Dreamspark Premium member so I can already upgrade to Windows 8 for free.
